Instrument Info & Demonstrations

SYMPHONIC BAND AUDITIONS!

Symphonic Band auditions are March 18th-31st! Audition info and submissions will be on Canvas March 18th. Students auditioning will be given two minutes to play as many of the 12 major scales from memory as they can. Students wishing to do some two octave scales will be given three minutes. After that, they will be given one minute to play a Bb chromatic, F two-octave chromatic or full range chromatic scale from memory. Remember, accuracy counts. If you make too many mistakes, the scale won't count, so don't sacrifice accuracy for speed. Scales can be found in the Foundations for Excellence Book or on the Band Website in the student resources section.
