The MRJH Band program is well-known for excellence and has a rich tradition. Mountain Ridge Junior High Bands have consistently received Superior Ratings at Festivals and have received many honors—these include: the first junior high band program from Utah to have performed at the Midwest Band and Orchestra Clinic in Chicago, one of four junior high bands that have performed at the Utah Music Educators’ Conference and one of only three junior high programs to be invited by audition to the State Junior High Band Festival every year since it began.
